African American Museum of Iowa
The African American Museum of Iowa is a statewide museum dedicated to preserving, exhibiting, & teaching Iowa’s African American history.
As part of Geonetric’s Operation Overnight event, I served as the designer & front-end developer for the new AAMI website. The process involves a high level of collaboration with the client & quick thinking & execution from the team.
The Safe Place Foundation
The Safe Place Foundation provides a drug & alcohol-free living environment with ongoing staff support, community volunteer involvement & peer-to-peer mentorship. They provide services for homeless or near homeless adult males in the early stages of recovery from alcoholism or drug addiction.
As part of Geonetric’s Operation Overnight event, I served as the designer & front-end developer for the new Safe Place Foundation website. The process involves a high level of collaboration with the client & quick thinking & execution from the team. I also designed a new logo & defined a new color palette as part of their updated brand.
Central Furniture Rescue
Central Furniture Rescue is an incredible organization that collects basic furniture & household items to provide to those transitioning from homelessness into their own homes.
I created this graphic to be used for merchandise & advertising to emphasize the impact & love this organization serves our community.
Alzheimer's Association | Greater Iowa Chapter
2017 Iowa City RivALZ. An organized flag football game where two teams of women compete to inspire fundraising, awareness & action in the fight against Alzheimer's.
Designs were created for merchandise to sell and raise funds.
Special Olympics | Iowa
2016 Summer Games: Rise Up. The Summer Games are Special Olympics Iowa’s largest event of the year, with more than 2,600 athletes 1,200 coaches & 2,000 volunteers converging on the campus of Iowa State University in Ames.
Shirt designs were created with flexibility in mind for different colors for those that participate in the games & also those hosting the event.
Big Brothers Big Sisters | Cedar Rapids & East Central Iowa
2016 & 2017 Bowl for Kids' Sake. As the nation’s largest donor & volunteer supported mentoring network, Big Brothers Big Sisters has been working for more than 100 years developing positive relationships that have a direct & lasting effect on the lives of young people.
Shirt designs were created to represent the team organization & play off the movement & retro styles of bowling.
Alt US National Park Service
2017 Save the Bees. A campaign initiative dedicated to the health, well-being & restoration of the bee population. My illustrated entry was inspired by the beauty of the bumble bee & colorful blooms of summer. The design is versatile & works well as an art print, stickers, seed pack, coasters & more.
