Client: Concord hospital | Laconia & Franklin
MY role: web designer & front-end developer

Our goal with the layout & design of this custom location profile was to create a “front door” for the individual locations for Laconia & Franklin. We wanted the page to represent the hospital as a whole instead of looking like a single location profile page. The approach taken was to design a clean, modern, open & well-organized layout with meaningful use of white space that provides separation & flow as the user is scrolling through the content on the page. We wanted to provide a feeling for users that is softer & speaks to the environment & surrounding area using more imagery & fewer boxy elements.

Design Discovery

As part of the design discovery discussion, we identified the front door priorities & unique characteristics of each location & also where they overlapped. This was to ensure space was accounted for in the layout to use with the different components & information each location needed to display.

Development

For the development piece of this project, the goal was to use one single template for all location profiles on the site, but with the ability to apply a different design, style, & components to two specific locations using logic in the razor profile. The images below are showing location profiles that are using the same template & how different designs and styles are applied using logic. The first image shows the standard look for a Concord Hospital location profile & the images following it are the new, custom designed location profiles created from this project.
